BREAST CANCER CAN BE DETECTED IN THE INITIAL STAGES BY MAMMOGRAPHY, BUT NOT EVERYONE IS SO PRECOCIOUS AND CAREFUL.
The warning signs can be different for every woman, but usually, the first change they notice is the appearance of lumps. However, the other warning sign that very few are familiar with is the changes in the look or feel of the nipples.
Nipple discharge is also a common symptom of the disease.
So, the first thing you need to do when you notice a change or unpleasant feeling is to go to your doctor. There is no reason to panic or to freak out, some changes of the nipples are not caused by cancer, but it’s better to be sure, cause if it is because of cancer development, then discovering cancer early, is crucial for surviving.
Many women touch a lump in their breasts, but this does not necessarily mean that it’s a sign of breast cancer. The breast tissue is lumpy, and if they are changing differently in each breast, then it is dangerous.
YOU SHOULD VISIT A DOCTOR IF YOU:
Notice a new lump that feels different than the rest of your breast tissue;
Discover a new lump that feels different from your other breast;
Feel something that hasn’t been there before.
Most nipple discharge is either normal or provoked by a benign medical condition. Discharge from the breast may and may not be a symptom of some forms of breast cancer.
This possibility is greater if your nipple discharge is followed by a lump or mass in the breast.EARLY WARNING SIGNS OF BREAST CANCER WOMEN DON’T TAKE SERIOUSLY (LUMPS ARE NOT ONLY SIGNS OF BREAST CANCER)
